Belarus celebrates Border Guard Day on 28 May

Veterans, officers, cadets and men that served in the border service during their military conscription term gathered in Victory Square. After laying flowers at the Victory Monument the border guards proceeded to the Island of Courage and Sorrow where they honored the memory of the peacekeeping soldiers, who fell during the war in Afghanistan.
