Unemployment at 1% in Grodno Oblast
In January-June 2010 the rate of registered unemployment in Grodno Oblast decreased by 0.1% to 1% of the economically active population, BelTA learnt from the labor, employment and social policy committee of the Grodno oblast executive committee.

Grodno Oblast, Augustow Canal to get logos
Grodno Oblast and Augustow Canal will have their own logos. The Physical Training, Sports and Tourism Department of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee has announced a contest to create tourism logos of the oblast and the historical canal, senior specialist of the department Tatiana Lidyayeva told BelTA.

Grodno, Slupsk sign agreement on cooperation
An agreement on cooperation between Slupsk and Grodno was signed in the Pomorskie Province of Poland. The document was signed by president of Slupsk Maciej Kobylinski and chairman of the Grodno city hall Boris Kozelkov. The signing of the agreement was initiated by the Vilno-Grodno organization bringing together the natives of Belarus.
